The Customized Truck Grilles

When you come across a truck on the highway, the first thing that you will notice is usually the truck's grille. The grille can be a stock, making it look ordinary; or it can be an awesome custom grille, leaving other truck enthusiasts saying, "Wow!" A truck's grille can either leave a good or bad reaction among other motorists. Custom grilles, to be exact, will add to the physique as well as looks of your truck; from worst in show to best in show, so to speak.

A grille is not just for the sake of making it look good. It really has a purpose or function. When you are driving, dirt, dust, dead birds, huge insects and other debris are flying all over the road. The grille keeps some of the huge debris from entering the engine. Anything that goes past the bumper, the grille will catch. By replacing the stock grille with a customized one, you are adding to its purpose. Now it is not just some kind of filter, it's an awesome type of filter.

Custom truck grilles can vary in design, style, and materials that are used to make the accessory. Some of the most common materials in making custom grilles are stainless steel, chrome or billet (a type of aluminum). Some truck operators or owners may prefer the fancier powder coated, wood grain or polished finish, whichever complements the whole design of the truck best. Custom grilles can come as a single unit, or in several pieces, depending on the brand, make, and model of the vehicle.

Custom grilles are available in quite a few designs. For example, vertical bar grilles highlight several straight, vertical pieces going along the length of the grille. There is also a mesh bordered design that has thick slabs of chrome or steel; and then, there are the billet grille designs that can include criss-cross or circular shapes, and other fabrications. Some even incorporate the truck's insignia in the middle of the grille, although insignias can be ordered separately and later on attached to the grille.

Installing a custom grille can be done in two ways. First, there are custom truck grilles that are designed to be placed over the stock grille. All you have to do is screw it on. Time completion is around thirty minutes. There are custom grilles, however, that will require you to remove the stock or existing grille and replace it with the customized truck grille.

A truck's grille, customized or not, should always be cleaned. Regular washing and checking of any debris should be customary. When you purchase a custom truck grille, always check for warranties. The best grilles out in the market always comes with a one to two years warranty, some even a lifetime warranty.

Time to Protect the Inside and Outside of Your Pickup Truck

Is Prevention better than cure? Yes! I strongly believe that prevention or preventive maintenance is better than cure. If that were true all the time, what are you waiting for to protecting the interior and exterior of your pickup truck?

Prevention is the shield which protects your vehicles interior from potential disasters, wear and tear from day to day commute or long distance driving.

Whether you drive a Chevrolet, Dodge, Ford, GMC, Cadillac, Toyota or Nissan pickup truck, there are countless automotive accessories designed to protect your pickup truck. As a rule of thought, a fenceless house is a defenseless house. That rule of thought is also applicable to your truck; if you do not defend the many obstacles that might befall the inside and outside of your truck, it will crumble. If you have decided to defend your pickup truck, here are some suggested aftermarket accessories to help protect the interior and exterior without a glitch.

Starting with the front of your pickup truck, there are custom grilles, hood deflectors to fend off bugs and stones, grille guards, bumper guards, bull bars or push bars. Applying any or combination of these accessories will help provide maximum protection to the front end of your vehicle. On the left and right sides of your pickup truck, try installing a set of window visors or rain guard, side step bars, body side moldings and splash guards. The rear end of your pickup doesn't offer a lot of accessories, but there are some good quality accessories to consider; a rear tail light guard and perhaps a rear bumper guard or even a backup camera. If you truck is daily driven and you use it to haul stuff every now and then, consider a bed liner, bed mat, side rails or a tonneau cover.

For all the many accessories to protecting the front, sides, bed and rear of your compact or full-size truck, there is a void that most pickup truck owners' ignore or totally neglect to protect - the interior. The interior, if you will is your castle and you have the right to protect the space in your castle. Most truck drivers spend a vast majority of time inside their truck for daily driven assignments or for fun. But what they fail to realize is the fact that the interior takes a lot of beatings from day to day usage.

What is the solution to protecting the interior? Well, there are lots of affordable or inexpensive aftermarket accessories custom-made to protect the interior of your pickup truck without revamping or altering the condition in any one way. Among the many custom accessories include dash covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats or floor liners, seat protectors, UV sunshades, window films or window tint and finally an alarm system to actually protect the truck from be stolen or borrowed by thieves. The unique feature about most interior accessories, when compared to the external accessories, is that most of the accessories offer do-it-your-self installation. Finally, it is wise and sensible to install either a backup sensor or wireless backup camera to avoid any kind of accident including personal or collision with an incoming vehicle.

With all the many interior and exterior accessories designed to safeguard your new pickup truck, can you afford not to defend your vehicle? Of course not! Failing or ignoring protection for your ride can, and will depreciate the value of your truck especially when you plan to re-sell or trade-in your pickup. With all that said, when are you going to start protecting your pickup truck? Today, tomorrow, or when you have some money or better yet, when you win the lottery. Stop procrastinating and start defending your pickup truck one step at a time

About Mud Trucks

Mud bogging is one of the most popular sports in the USA and Canada. It is also called mud dragging, mud racing or mudding. It is an off-road motor. The objective of the driver is to get his truck through the mud until the finish line on a set length path.

The most important aspect at a mud truck is its engine. Nowadays, mud trucks have overcharged engines. Over charged engines have the role to get the truck through difficult terrain areas. Using the over charge the mud truck can get out of the mud.

Suspensions are very important at a mud truck. They have to be just right. They have the role of increasing the speed on the track. But also they must correspond to the terrain type. Too high suspensions will decrease the mobility of the mud bogging truck. Too low ones will get the mud bogging truck stuck in the mud.

Nitrous oxide is also a key element. No modern mud truck can miss the nitrous oxide. An impulse of nitrous oxide can be the difference between losing and winning. Because of the mud, getting stuck is almost inevitable. And the only solution in many situations is a good impulse. And that impulse is given by nitrous oxide.

There are six classes of mod bogging trucks.

Vehicles in the IA and IB class are stock ones.
Vehicles in the II class are modified stock. They have mild modifications, but nothing serious.
Vehicles in the III class are pro stock. Their engine is the one from the factory.
The IV class includes the vehicles with modified engine.
V and VI class vehicles have modifications permitted. Also they have supercharged and turbocharged engines. In this class nitrous oxide is permitted.

Mud bogging trucks come in various classes. Each class with its own characteristics.
